Hello, I sold my iPhone for €388, namely the item for sale [Reference], and the eBay site is still blocking the funds even though the buyer has received their item.
Why hasn't eBay released my funds yet.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

OP2 years agoHello,
After a few days of waiting, eBay has finally transferred my money, namely the sum of €388, to my bank account. I received a confirmation email from them this morning, however the funds are not yet visible in my account.
Can you tell me in how many days the sum will appear in my account.
I bank with Crédit Mutuel.
Thanks everyone.
Best regards

OP2 years agoIt's fine, I just checked my IBAN and the last 4 digits are okay so I think it's fine, it says in a window that the next payout will be on June 18.
I hope eBay will make the payout; I still have €340 pending for the sale of my iPhone, it was much better back then when we could get paid by Paypal or directly into our checking account, today if I understood correctly eBay holds the funds for 14 days.
I think I've checked everything, my IBAN is up to date, and my bank card is up to date.
Thanks to everyone who was able to give me an answer each time, it's true that I'm a bit lost, I would prefer the way it used to work before.
Kind regards

today, if I understood correctly, eBay blocks the funds for 14 days.
14 business days, so count on more like 21 days at best

OP2 years agoFinally, the funds are blocked, I had to update my bank card in my account, and update the payment frequency, so I set a weekly frequency, so if I understood correctly I have to wait 14 days to receive my funds regarding my sale
Thanks everyone.

·2 years agoAnd did you also carry out the identity and IBAN verification?

(the bank card procedure is just a safety net for ebay to collect fees, but payment for items sold is made by bank transfer only)

·2 years agoHello @fabrice2626
You are considered an occasional or beginner seller..
As a result, ebay holds the funds from the sale for 14 days to 3 weeks ( to account for the delay in handling disputes if any were to arise..)
Blocked payments | eBay
Be patient.

OP2 years agoHello, I am considered an occasional seller, I sold my old iPhone and what I don't understand is that the funds are visibly available but they haven't yet been credited to my card, it's strange, yet the buyer received the Colissimo today.
fabrice2626
OP2 years agoalso I have set the payment frequency for every Tuesday, thanks

·2 years agoHello @fabrice2626
You should reread @lingma85's reply (🤗), and click on the blue link: minimum 14 days of blocking.
So there’s no chance of receiving the funds today in your bank account (why are you talking about a card?) for a delivery made today: QED!
Best regards
fabrice2626
OP2 years agoI'm talking about the card, because the bank card that was listed on my eBay account was the old one, with an old account number, I had to delete my old bank card and register the new one in my eBay account
