neutral evaluation
Hello,
I don't understand the point of a neutral rating that means "abstention or does not take a position," so why does eBay classify this rating as negative because if it is neutral, it is neither negative nor positive, whereas eBay classifies it as negative since it lowers the rating in an unfavorable way.

·2 years agohello, this happened to me back then, I had opened a thread called "neutral ratings lower the score" but it disappeared. koalagris had given this same answer but I had shown that the rating did in fact penalize, contrary to what the calculation was supposed to give. The phenomenon was not explained except by my hypothesis at the time, which I think was that you had a negative hidden by an eBay agent but not entirely the way a removal should happen, and it resurfaces in a covert way triggered by the arrival of a neutral. I think I had to wait for my score to return to what it should have been, for the unseen negative to pass the moment when it would have disappeared anyway, if it had been visible.

" I had demonstrated that the rating was indeed penalizing, contrary to what the calculation was supposed to give" = it would be more than interesting to find this demonstration again, with proof to back it up...
Because in the case of @monica9824 it is crystal clear, and entirely in line with the site's explanations on the subject: 1 negative and 50 positive, so 50/(50+1) that gives 98% every time, the 4 neutral ones are therefore NOT taken into account.
Best regards

·2 years agoHello
If you're only at 98%, it's because the negative from about a year ago still counts.
In a little while, you'll be back to 100% again..Patience😉

Neutral ratings are not taken into account for calculating the percentage.
