Apply a restriction regarding the quantity

We would have liked to know whether it was possible to limit our buyers to just 1 item of the same product in order to avoid companies emptying our stock to resell it at the original price without letting consumers benefit from it, thank you

"Block members who have already won or purchased " = dropdown menu (ranging from 1 to 100) "of my items in the last 10 days"
The catch is that it will apply to ALL your items (not just 2 copies of the same item).

Il serait judicieux de bloquer les acheteurs qui ont déjà remporté ou acheté un objet dans les 10 derniers jours ? Ce qui nous embête c'est surtout les particuliers voulant se procurer plusieurs jeux avec cette option

You could also add a little more + (5 items for example)
but in any case you'll never be able to know whether it's not a professional hiding behind an individual buyer account (and who can quite easily create several, even buy without being registered as Felin said), so in my opinion your fight is futile.

You seem to have a strange idea of commerce....
Trading is a job whose purpose is to make a profit to live on...
To do that, you therefore have to calculate the cost price of the product (purchase price + shipping + various other taxes) and apply a coefficient to it that will let you make a profit to make "both ends meet"...
Yet from your listings, it would seem that you want to break a market with very low prices compared to the competition and, on top of that, you want to sort the customers...
You won't last long at this rate because when you have to pay URSSAF and taxes, you may not have enough left to restock...
It would also be good to indicate the delivery methods and their prices...
If you really want to avoid multiple purchases by a single buyer.... put your listings up individually.. and don't do combined shipping.. That way your listings will be only mildly attractive to the "greedy ones"....

OP2 years agoand getting into cultural products to make them accessible to
people on modest incomes and keep the sale of CDs going, which is gradually collapsing
in favor of digital, and where companies empty our stock to
offer higher prices on their own shop while using eBay
as a low-cost intermediary, is definitely not my definition
of effective commerce.

I notice contradictory things in what you write: you want to let buyers benefit from low prices for non-essential items, but you want to choose your buyers
you were afraid that your stock would be wiped out, but if you have stock it's because you have suppliers able to supply you in large quantities, where I no longer understand is that your competitors have the same possibilities as you, so why would they wipe out your stock, except to "sabotage" your sales I don't see it

OP2 years agothe world leader in e-commerce has an option to limit the number
of items purchased by the same customer for a product in order to counter
non-B2B interbusiness purchases.
- Seller policies allow you to restrict or block
certain types of sellers, such as sellers without downloadable VAT invoice
Business Prime members can also set
preferred seller policies.
You’re talking to me about the notion of commerce but you’re really off the mark
really, we are not suppliers and we don’t have to
take on that role.

you use terms that are foreign to me, certainly all the rage in business schools, and you imagine yourself being robbed by your competitors
on the other hand, as for ebay, I know what risks happening to you: if you overshadow certain sellers, you’ll end up with lots of sales that get stuck and never paid, and the site, tired of your many disputes, will kick you off
this is ebay, not the land of the Care Bears

I'm not sure I understood everything either, but I don't think you did either. You're here on a commercial site whose stated purpose is neither charity nor public service. The platform, sellers, and buyers are here to “get something out of it,” as they say. Not to “save the world.” You can regret that or be pleased about it, but that's the way it is and you need to know it.
So, one of two things is true: either your project is generous, cultural, and altruistic, or it's a new way of selling the Brooklyn Bridge.. In the first case, you need to turn to other sectors to build a real project that, without harming anyone, will spare you disappointment. In the second case... let's just say we've seen it before....

Personally, I doubt that companies would fight to clear out your shop,
you don't really have wholesale prices.
Even for an individual wanting to play merchant
the investment would be too high for the profit to be made from it

Nous voulons vendre bien sûr mais à des particuliers de préférence, nous ne faisons pas de B2B et de plus notre système n'est pas près d'accueilir la génération de factures avec numéro de TVA, même eBay ne propose pas d'insérer son numéro de TVA car c'est avant tout une plateforme dédiée aux particuliers.
