Buying inside EU with Commercial profile - How can I set my VAT number? | Selling on eBay

I would like to buy with my company from an ebay seller. We are both in the EU. I could not set my VAT number in my profile. When buying, I will need an invoice from the seller with my VAT number on it at least.How could I set this up?Thank you for any kind of information
