Final price commission
Summary: omnium_mobilite is questioning eBay's commission fees for business sales, wondering whether the 3% rate mentioned on the sign-up page is accurate, since it seems to apply only to certain categories like vehicles. francexpressdeal clarifies that the category-by-category percentages listed are the ones to take into account. the_vintage_pineapple expresses dissatisfaction, calling the display of the 3% rate misleading.
Hello,
I want to sell items as a professional and I'm trying to understand how much final value fee I'd have to pay if I decide to open an Ebay store.
On the signup page it clearly says 3% of the "final value fee" but there is an info button that links to this other page listing the fees by product category, where you can see that the 3% only applies to cars, motorcycles, quads, scooters.
Which page should be taken into account?
Thanks

·1 year agoThis is extremely misleading! There is really no point to putting the 3% other than false advertising
