Someone bought an item from me, the person signed up the same day as the purchase and obviously has a 0 rating
Should I be suspicious?

When there is a purchase... payment is made within the following 4 days...

As you pointed out @koalagris ( 😀 ) everyone started with a "0" profile...
- trust comes from respecting the rules of "good conduct" between buyers and sellers.
Let time do its thing and only "flag" if necessary.

It’s not that I see the bad before seeing the good, but it’s a direct purchase, without contacting me to ask me a question or any clarification whatsoever.

·4 months agoIf your listing is complete, there’s not really any reason to ask additional questions 😉, no matter how many reviews there are or how old the account is...

Buying on eBay or another selling platform is very often quick (on a whim...) and doesn’t require any back-and-forth if the listing offers a precise description and the info is enough to trigger a purchase...
Online purchases are not made for that, in principle.
As said above... without payment within 4 days, you activate the protection system offered to you.
