End of the Recommended International Package rate
Summary: zonatus expresses frustration about the permanent disappearance of online stamp options for International Registered Parcel and International Registered Letter, causing a significant increase in costs for shipments to China. passioncreationcollection.france mentions that the removal is not shown as permanent on the site, suggesting Affranchigo as an alternative. cbobois clarifies that the withdrawal is driven by La Poste’s strategy and encourages contacting ARCEP and the Directorate General for Enterprises to restore the service. lolaxs finds La Poste’s information contradictory and is considering contacting ARCEP.
Hello everyone,
Since a recent (and disastrous) update to Montimbre en ligne (professional version), the stamps to print International registered parcel and International registered letter are no longer available, and La Poste confirmed to me that this is final.
Overnight, a registered parcel under 100 g for China thus goes from under €10 to over €30...
Has anyone found an alternative solution?

·1 year agoHello,
I've been fighting for months to get this service reinstated.
Indeed, this is not a technical constraint, since it worked perfectly before the new site.
The service has not been removed, but taken off MTEL.
If you look closely, you'll see that all products including compensation in case of loss have been removed from MTEL:
Registered letter FR: only the R1 rate is possible
International registered letter: still available, but only at the counter.
Colissimo FR: No more option to insure the parcel
Colissimo International: No more option to insure the parcel
Now you understand La Poste's motives…
What you need to know:
The international registered parcel is part of the SUP:
UNIVERSAL POSTAL SERVICE.
in short: it is a PUBLIC SERVICE, enshrined in law,
the State has entrusted its implementation to La Poste, until 2025.
It is clear that La Poste wants to get rid of this product, which competes with its own products.
La Poste must be monitored by ARCEP, but this agency didn't understand anything and let La Poste do as it pleased.
It is the Ministry of Economy that manages the SUP, more specifically the Directorate General for Enterprises.
I challenged them, but they don't seem to want to act.
If we want to be able to keep this essential service for exporting small goods,
we have to fight.
I invite you to contact ARCEP and the Directorate General for Enterprises.

OP2 years agoHello,
La Poste did confirm to me that it was final - contrary to the message on the site, it has nothing to do with a technical issue.
I do a few dozen of them a year, and unfortunately Affranchigo isn’t suitable.

·2 years agoHello
And yet it says
Due to technical difficulties, the printable stamps for International Registered Letter and International Registered Parcel are unavailable.
We inform you that you can buy your International Registered Letter at a postal contact point
It doesn't say that this is final
If that were ever the case and you send a lot of them, you still have affranchigo (contract postage)
