bank fees
hello,
Recently I put a product up for sale on Ebay, something I hadn't done for at least 2 years, I create my listing, priced at 35 euros, and I realize that Ebay charged me 3.5 euros in bank fees. What does that correspond to? I should point out that my product still hadn't been sold, the auction was still ongoing.
thanks

Have you taken options such as-->
- reserve price...?
- subtitle...??
See the fees generated by an ad here-------> Fees for individual sellers | eBay
Kind regards

OP2 years agoNo, none of that, just "possibility to make an offer". In the end my sale was successful for 35e, and in the end Ebay paid me 33,07e into my account and I got the 3,5e deducted at the beginning.

Take out your calculator and see the amount of the eBay commission... and compare it with the amounts the site has deducted from you... (that’ll be simpler than a bunch of explanations on the forum )

·2 years agoHello,
The fees have gone up a heck of a lot. Good grief.
Back when I was selling (the last time was around 2014), only taking the basic options, I paid 0.35 euro cents per listing and about 8% commission on sales.
Those were the good old days 🤗
