I just opened an eBay Business account and made my first sale.
I’m trying to understand the fees charged because the amount seems unusually high to me.

Here’s the situation:

Item sale price: €50
Shipping paid by the buyer: €5
Total received: €55
eBay fees charged: €19.52
Available funds: €35.48

In the fee breakdown, I have:

Insertion fee: €13.44
Final value fee: €5.85
Regulatory fees: €0.23

I should note that there was no advertising enabled and no sponsored option on the listing.

I think €19.52 in fees for a €50 sale (€55 with shipping) represents a very high percentage. The €13.44 in “insertion fees” seem particularly surprising to me.

Is this normal for a pro account?
Could these fees correspond to a store subscription or a grouping of monthly fees?
