Sponsored ad fees too high / overcharged and unfair on eBay
Hello, do you think it’s normal that the advertising fees for sponsored listings are also charged when a buyer purchases directly from our shop and doesn’t go through an eBay sponsored link? That’s really dishonest, especially since eBay is supposed to promote our items on the site in the first place without extra charges.

·2 years agoI agree. The vast majority of my sales happen through sponsored listings (even regular buyers). It’s ridiculous. Personally, I use a low sponsorship rate, and even then the amount of eBay fees is impressive.
That said, there’s not much choice but to sponsor the listings; I tried without it, and the result is clearly obvious.
