Import eBay sales on Mondial Relay
Summary: julich-1219 plans to sell on eBay using Mondial Relay and is considering linking the two accounts to import sales. They ask whether the seller has to pay the shipping costs and whether the parcel can be insured. *miss-tigri* confirms that the seller must advance the shipping costs, which are then reimbursed through the sale, and says that the parcel can be insured at different compensation levels.
Hello,
I’m planning to start selling on Ebay soon using Mondial Relay.
Based on the reviews, I think I’ll link my Mondial Relay account to my Ebay account and import the sales.
I have two questions:
1/ Can you confirm that it’s up to me (= the seller) to pay the Mondial Relay shipping fees on the Mondial Relay site by importing the sale?
2/ Is it possible to insure the parcel and, if so, are the compensation levels the same as these https://www.mondialrelay.fr/faq/assurance/comment-ajouter-une-indemnisation-a-la-creation-d-un-envoi/ ?
Thank you in advance for your help

You're right, it's better to go directly to the carrier's website because there are far fewer problems than with Packlink ..
And yes, it's up to the seller to advance the shipping costs.. These are paid back to them with the sale.
You can insure the package at different reimbursement levels.
