Payment methods: limits for large amounts
Hello,
I'd like to put an item up for sale for a value above €5k. Don't the payment methods offered by Ebay have payment limits?
With my bank card, €5k exceeds my limit.
Thanks for your advice

There is no payment limit on ebay...
On the other hand, credit card payment limits are something to be discussed between the bank and its customer.
But is it really a good idea to put such expensive items up for sale online...??
Wouldn't a good auction house be more appropriate...??
Best regards

·1 year agoBut at first glance it's a hand delivery. I'm just hoping he'll have them sign a receipt saying everything is as expected, with name, ID card number, etc., so that the buyer doesn't open a dispute afterward; at least if that's the case, he can file a complaint.

To use the definition of the word that got moderated, I was saying that the person had a "seriously life-threatening behavior"^^
Of course it was just a figure of speech, you know 🤣.
