REP - I have my IDU but still not compliant with the rules, according to Ebay!
Summary: cornwallisd expressed concerns about eBay messages indicating non-compliance with EPR rules, despite registering their EMBM UIN. francexpressdeal replied that these messages had been sent in error to some sellers and suggested checking the UIN registration on the account. A potential issue of registration under the wrong name on the SYDEREP site was mentioned as a possible cause, and francexpressdeal recommended checking this site. cornwallisd thanked them for the information.
Hello everyone
I got my EMBM IDU and added it to my account several months ago, but Ebay has just started sending me the same messages again, threatening to cancel sales, fines, etc. if I don't comply with the REP rules.
I only sell used items, so for REP I am concerned only with shipping packaging requirements (if I understood correctly). So my EMBM IDU should be enough...
I've read hundreds of pages and messages on this topic but I can't understand why I'm still being told that I don't comply. Customer service isn't able to explain it or help me.
Can anyone tell me why I'm still being targeted? I'm afraid the time is coming when they'll limit my account.
Regards

OP2 years agoThank you for your reply. Did you receive this message from October 26?
I have more than twenty years of experience on Ebay, and I know very well that their administrative “mistakes” sometimes turn into real problems for me...
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for what comes next!

·2 years agoyes, I got that message too. Hence my reply.
However, as far as you’re concerned, the problem may come from something else:
Your company is listed under the name WALTER.
But when doing a check on the SYDEREP site (which lists the IDUs), you appear under the name WALETR
Since Ebay checks the IDUs based on this site, it’s possible the problem comes from there ...
Of course, this is just a hypothesis and only customer service will be able to confirm it for you.
SYDEREP site address if you want to check it yourself:

·2 years agoHello @cornwallisd
this message was sent " by mistake " including to sellers who had provided their IDU (info communicated by customer service on October 26)
For more details, you can contact them directly.
That said, make sure your IDU is indeed registered on your account ...
