Thank you for your reply, but Colissimo's Advalorem requires an invoice for the item, which I don't have. Do you know of a carrier that offers insurance for compensation of up to 400 euros?
The eBay shipping platform is just a gateway: nothing more and nothing less than going directly through the carrier, since it is indeed the latter - and only the latter - who will compensate you in the event of loss or damage.

The ebay payment/invoice request may be enough for the Post Office.

OP2 years agoOkay, which carrier do you think is the safest and offers significant compensation in case of loss or theft?

The best compensation you’ll get (whatever the carrier) will depend solely on the insurance you choose (fixed-rate or ad valorem)...
Basic compensation only covers small amounts...
When you insure a parcel... calculate the amount paid by the buyer + your own shipping/registered mail costs and insurance included...
A well-insured parcel generally always reaches the right address... (little or no loss..)
Kind regards
