Selling on eBay

Hello

a promotion appeared on my seller dashboard this morning, it says

"Sell with no fees until March 28"

However, the conditions don't seem clear

- Is it the first 100 sales like the similar offer that came after Christmas

- Or is it for the first 100 listings published, like the offers that regularly appear from Friday to Monday

Take a look in "my ebay" / "sales" / "overview"

That said, given the ratings you've received as a seller, you're well above the minimum sales threshold required to qualify for the promo...

Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't seem like there are any restrictions at that level.

I called eBay on Saturday and they said it was a bug and that the promo banner will reappear as soon as the problem is resolved.

"Who can benefit from the Promotion?

Sellers meeting all of the following conditions may participate in the Promotion:

have an individual seller account on the Site,
have been invited to participate in the Promotion,
have activated the Promotion via the RSVP link indicated in the marketing communications,
Sellers who made less than $100 in sales between February 7, 2024, and February 7, 2025 (“New individual Sellers”),
and who meet the following other conditions.
Participation is non-transferable."

I don’t see what could be confusing in the conditions:

"The Promotion applies only to listings that were put online for the first time or manually relisted on the site during the Promotional Period. At the end of the initial listing duration (3, 5, 7, or 10 days for the Auction format or 30 days maximum for the Fixed Price format), if the listing is automatically renewed, it will no longer be eligible for the Promotion.

Before your 100 listings begin, you must have activated the Promotion via the RSVP link indicated in the marketing email."

"The Promotion applies only to the first 100 listings published for the first time or manually relisted on the Site during the Promotional Period (or scheduled to start during this Period) in Auction format, Auction with Buy It Now option, or Fixed Price in an eligible category. For listings in Auction with Buy It Now option, only the insertion fee will be charged, if the sales are eligible for the Promotion."
