Sell on eBay
Hello everyone,
I'm considering selling on ebay but I have some concerns about ebay's new policies, in fact I heard that to sell you had to give ebay power of attorney over your bank account in order to be paid its commissions, and besides I don't have a paypal account how will my potential buyers be able to pay me? - Thanks to anyone who would be willing to help me with these questions and give me some advice.

·2 years agoHello
Buyers make their payment directly to ebay with a payment method accepted by the site ..
Then ebay transfers the money to your account, so it doesn't matter whether you have PayPal or not ..
Indeed, you give ebay power of attorney so it can take the money from your account in the event of a dispute with a buyer .. It's up to you to see whether that suits you ..

"to sell, you had to give eBay power of attorney over your bank account" = indeed, the site can take funds from your bank account in the event of a dispute in order to refund the buyer.
" I don't have a PayPal account" = that doesn't matter, all payments go through eBay, the site collects the sale amount and then pays the funds to the seller (item + shipping costs) ONLY by bank transfer.
