Sale of an item - fees paid by the buyer?
Summary: bd70925 complains that a buyer is unhappy because her bank charged her €50 in fees for a transaction routed through Luxembourg. The buyer is threatening to leave a negative review, and bd70925 is wondering whether these fees are related to the bank. *miss-tigri* and jacquelinedu36 advise him to tell the buyer to sort the issue out with her bank, and point out that this problem has nothing to do with bd70925.
Hello,
I’ve just been contacted by a buyer who says she’s unhappy because her bank apparently charged her fees of around €50 (on a sale of €450), because the money went through Luxembourg??
I imagine that’s indeed the country where Ebay accounts are located, but what can I do about it?
Could you confirm that these fees are specific to her bank? Why has she never had them before when she buys regularly?
She is considering leaving negative feedback on this sale, but I don’t think that’s very fair.
Any advice?
Thanks

·2 years agoHello,
It's her problem, not yours > positive evaluation already posted
She wants to recover €50
Put her on the banned list

Is your buyer in France? That's the first time I've seen that..
That's in no way your problem ...She should sort that out with her bank ...
