Send an item (1-2 kg) to Australia
Hello,
I'm being asked whether I could consider sending an item I'm selling to Australia. Do you have any experiences with that, and with which carrier?
have a nice day...

OP1 week agoThanks for your reply, but then this is done outside of Ebay.
Apparently on Ebay you have to have a pro account to sell internationally.

"this is then done outside of Ebay."
Regarding the postage for your shipment, nothing requires you to go through eBay / Packlink. And given the number of problems with this "service", it is even recommended to avoid it...

Not at all. Private sellers can also sell internationally. See this link:

To ship internationally... the seller can be a private individual or a pro... and they can also choose their own carrier..
But they must absolutely enter the parcel tracking number in the transaction, which will have to be done manually..
Best regards

Take a look at the Post Office website------>
Parcel characteristics - Colissimo Online - La Poste
WARNING
your parcel needs to be thoroughly padded on the inside, as if it had to withstand a soccer match.
- weigh it once the packaging is done and then see about the shipping costs... the amount and customs/declaration documents can't just be made up...
Best regards
