Buyer pickup point not set up in their account.
Summary: jefsanmalo reports a problem with the shipping system on eBay, where a bug prevents the shipping method from being reassigned to Mondial Relay if the buyer hasn’t set a preferred pickup point. The system systematically redirects to "La Poste" or "Colissimo," even after the buyer has provided their preferences. jefsanmalo asks whether others have encountered this problem and whether they found a solution, noting that he is a non-professional seller, which could affect the situation.
Hello,
It seems that the new shipping system on eBay has a few flaws. The allocation of shipping fees to the seller's earnings, I find that very convenient.
But there's a bug.
When the shipping method is Mondial Relay and the buyer hasn't set their preferred Relay Point, the system sends back the choice "La Poste" or "Colissimo". When the buyer sends the information later on, it's possible to change the address, but we're stubbornly stuck on La Poste or Colissimo, even though the label clearly says "Delivery by Mondial Relay"'.
Has anyone encountered this problem and, above all, does anyone have a solution to switch back to Mondial Relay in this case?
I should note that I am a private seller, which may have an impact.
Thanks for your insight, fellow sellers.

·2 weeks agoHello,
The best thing is probably to go through Mondial Relay and link your account. Mondial Relay will automatically select the pickup point closest to the address entered (but it's better to check with Google Maps).
Best regards.
