Hi, I was wondering if I buy an item from uk to a country in Europe will I have to pay import tax and vat?

Oui en tant qu'importateur vous avez à payer les taxes liées au douane pour les pays hors UE

Indeed, you must pay the V.A.T. current in U.E namely 20 % from the total amount of the sale

Possibly a fees tax depending on the nature, the value of the imported product ( between 0% to 17% ) and a agent charge around to 2 % and always from the total amount of the transaction
