Hi Sheila,

First, read this link about Buyer Protection :

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/protection-programs.html

Then this one for an item not as described :

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/item-not-received.html

You already contacted the seller without receiving a response about getting back your money. Theoretically, you can only get it back when you send the item back - and paying for returning it !

You might contact the seller again and tell him that you are going to send the stove back. But, for your own security, you should first open a case at the PayPal resolution Centre on PayPal France, and this up to 45 days after your payment. The Centre will then create a dialogue between you and the seller.

If you send the stove back, PayPal will ask you its tracking number, as a proof. Once the seller will have received the item, PayPal will refund you.

But : I think that shipping a stove must be rather expensive ... In your place, I would keep it and try to get it fixed. But it's up to you ...

If you want to open a case and since you must do it on eBay France, I give you the link corresponding to the English one I gave you, concerning items not corresponding :

http://pages.ebay.fr/help/buy/item-not-received.html

If you have other questions, don't hesitate !

Kind regards
