Possibly incorrect return address from misleading seller/ scam artist

Good evening. I hope it's alright if I write this post in English.

A month ago I fell for a misleading ad for Ringfit Adventure for Nintendo Switch. Instead of the actual game, the seller only sent the peripheral for the game. Obviously, I'm trying to return it for a full refund. After trying several times to convince me to accept a partial refund, the seller finally agreed to take the article back for a full refund. I am, however, worried that he might still try to trick me to refuse refunding the money after I'll send it back.

The return address he gave me does exist, but it's in a different country from the one where the package **bleep** from.

Originally, the ad said that the article was in Canada, the mail receipt said that the seller is from China, the package **bleep** from the Netherlands, and the return address is in the UK.

Now the question is: Can I be sure to get my money back if the return address turns out to be wrong?

I never had the displeasure of dealing with a scammer before, so I want to cover my bases.

Thank you for reading and for any advice.

PS: Feel free to answer in French. I have no trouble reading it, but it's easier for me to write in English

Bonjour @cedloth_0

https://www.paypal.com/fr/webapps/mpp/problem-purchase

et vous expliquez exactement la tromperie dans la messagerie du litige qui est prévue...

C'est encore le moyen le + simple..

😉
