For the third time in three weeks when an item is proven lost by tracking that was paid for by Paypal eBay have decided that the sale was not covered by the eBay guarentee! This makes no sense I have been buying on eBay for over 15 years and have bought thousands of things (I am a collector) and never before have they said this. The items payments were made less than the 60 day limit so its not the limit being used.
Also I think eBay needs to stop telling sellers to put delivery dates 2+ months after payment because this kills any possibility of guarentee since the buyer cannot start a not recieved claim until after this estimated delivery date is exceeded. This is simply fraud by eBay because they know lots will go missing enroute during the Coronavirus lockdowns. They have by doing this remove any purchase guarentees. I aslo (as well as ones within the 60 days) have sellers that told eBay that I had not recieved an item that I made a claim the moment that it was possible (after the delivery estimated date had passed) and again I lose despite the sellers telling eBay that this has happened...
I am losing hundreds of dollars for items never recieved that I can prove never arrived and am being denied compensation for things within the 60 day limit where sellers ignored eBay advice and outside the limit where sellers put 2 months plus on estimated delivery date by eBay what can I do? Ebay is relly letting buyers down in a big way with this since I cannot be the only case.
