Hello everyone, if someone knows the subject, I’d like to know how taxation applies in France to sales on various platforms including Ebay. I read that you may have to declare it to the tax authorities if you exceed 2,000 euros in annual sales and/or 30 transactions. Do these taxes apply to the user or to the tax household, and what are the consequences if you exceed either of the 2,000/30 transaction criteria? Thanks in advance for your help; for now I’m suspending my sales because of this.

Hello, And a simple question : Several times eBay has offered me a discount voucher, but to do that you have to scan the QR code, BUT ; what do you do when you have a basic phone without scanning like 34 % of French people? Is this yet more proof that eBay management refuses reality, and does so disrespectfully toward a third of people ? Please let me know.

Request for a return for an item that arrived broken
Hello eBay community, I would like to have your opinion on a dispute I am having with eBay. A buyer ordered a lot of two VCRs from me for an amount of €90, plus €90 shipping fees for shipment to Sweden. Given the weight, I shipped the two units in two separate parcels of about 20 kg each. The buyer did receive both parcels. When unpacking them at home, he found that one of the two VCRs had been damaged. He then opened a return request with eBay for a damaged item. I explained to him that, according to the carrier's rules, he should have checked the condition of the parcels when he picked them up. In the event of visible damage, he could either have noted reservations or refused the parcel, which would have made it possible to hold the carrier liable. While the case was being processed, eBay suspended all of my listings, including some ongoing auctions, until the dispute was resolved. I do not agree with this decision, because I believe that the lack of inspection upon receipt prevents me from claiming compensation from the carrier. Moreover, only one of the two VCRs was damaged. The second arrived in perfect condition. I offered him a solution concerning only the damaged unit, but he preferred to request the return of both VCRs. I have the feeling that the return process is being used to my disadvantage, even though part of the order is in compliance and I will have to bear the shipping costs, the return costs, and the loss of the damaged item. In the end, eBay decided to fully refund the buyer despite the explanations I provided. In your opinion, does this decision seem justified? Did I make a mistake in handling this sale, or do you think the process is unfavorable to the seller in this type of situation? Thanks in advance for your feedback and experiences.

How to change what ebay.fr proposes to me?
Hello ! I'd like to change what the homepage shows me. My hobbies have changed, and some objects aren't relevant anymore. Also, I saw an erotic photo, and was surprised to see it here, so I clicked, and now there's a lot of nudes on my homepage... I've searched how to remove those irrelevant items, deleted the "Favorite searches". I've also clicked many times the 3 dots button to say I'm not interested in these, but they keep popping up every time I go to the homepage. So how do I get rid of things I don't want to see?
