Request for a return for an item that arrived broken
Hello eBay community, I would like to have your opinion on a dispute I am having with eBay. A buyer ordered a lot of two VCRs from me for an amount of €90, plus €90 shipping fees for shipment to Sweden. Given the weight, I shipped the two units in two separate parcels of about 20 kg each. The buyer did receive both parcels. When unpacking them at home, he found that one of the two VCRs had been damaged. He then opened a return request with eBay for a damaged item. I explained to him that, according to the carrier's rules, he should have checked the condition of the parcels when he picked them up. In the event of visible damage, he could either have noted reservations or refused the parcel, which would have made it possible to hold the carrier liable. While the case was being processed, eBay suspended all of my listings, including some ongoing auctions, until the dispute was resolved. I do not agree with this decision, because I believe that the lack of inspection upon receipt prevents me from claiming compensation from the carrier. Moreover, only one of the two VCRs was damaged. The second arrived in perfect condition. I offered him a solution concerning only the damaged unit, but he preferred to request the return of both VCRs. I have the feeling that the return process is being used to my disadvantage, even though part of the order is in compliance and I will have to bear the shipping costs, the return costs, and the loss of the damaged item. In the end, eBay decided to fully refund the buyer despite the explanations I provided. In your opinion, does this decision seem justified? Did I make a mistake in handling this sale, or do you think the process is unfavorable to the seller in this type of situation? Thanks in advance for your feedback and experiences.

Unable to reach a live advisor
You can no longer reach an advisor live! I'm not satisfied with this way of doing things! How do you call an advisor? The messaging server! It's terrible! Impossible to send an email either! How to change what ebay.fr proposes to me?
Hello ! I'd like to change what the homepage shows me. My hobbies have changed, and some objects aren't relevant anymore. Also, I saw an erotic photo, and was surprised to see it here, so I clicked, and now there's a lot of nudes on my homepage... I've searched how to remove those irrelevant items, deleted the "Favorite searches". I've also clicked many times the 3 dots button to say I'm not interested in these, but they keep popping up every time I go to the homepage. So how do I get rid of things I don't want to see? Customs duty and VAT
Hello, I ordered an item on eBay from Japan to France for an amount of €823.67, including €137.28 of import VAT. The problem is that now the delivery company DHL is asking me again to pay customs fees because the seller apparently did not send or inform DHL that these fees had already been paid. What should I do? DHL is asking me for €203 today and my package is supposed to arrive Thursday HELP

Hello, before when ebay sent us a message in our inbox to tell us which pickup point to go to to collect it, there were all the details: address, hours. But now there is just a title: "your package is available" and below that a blank page, nothing.

Buyer doesn't respond after my purchase was charged

I paid the sum of €1150 for a product that was debited yesterday from my bank account, for an in-person transaction, but the seller is not responding. I asked for the cancellation and still no response from the seller. My problem is that the amount has still been debited from my bank account, and no reply from eBay. Normally the seller has 3 days to approve the cancellation, but no news at all. Do you know what I should do? Thanks in advance, best regards
