I purchased from yadodoo2008 in Hong Kong a mobile phone.
Ebay #2803xxxxxxx "Neu Dual Sim 3.2 Touch Screen i68 Unlock Handys i9 MP4". Bought on 02 Jul 2009. Paid by Paypal on 02 Jul 2009 Transaktionscode: 4X15xxxxxxx.
The mobile phone was defect on arrival (microphone and one sim slot not working, usb cable not working etc), I sent it back to China at their request and at my expense. They returned it to me after almost 3 months in a worse condition that it was when I sent it (touch screen not working, back cover damaged etc.). I sent it back to them at their request (and my expense).
In the meantime, due to the long shipping delays to China, my option to get a refund from paypal, and give a negative feedback have expired. At this point they stopped answering my emails and blocked me on their buyers list. Only when I sent them a copy from the post office investigation confirming on which date they got my phone back and threatening to take legal action against them, and after tens of unanswered emails they finally answered. They wanted me to send them more money to cover the repair costs. I refused, and told them that I bought from them a new item and they sent me a defect one. I asked for free repair, replacement or refund at their choice. Again no answer from them. I wrote them that if they refuse to repair/replace/refund they should at least send me back my phone, not repaired, defect as it is. No reply to the tens (perhaps hundreds) of emails I sent them.
They are holding now both my money and the phone I bought from them (if they have not sold yet my defect phone again to somebody else...).
They hope I will give up on the case, which I am not going to do.
Ebay and PayPal were not of much help.
If anyone here was also cheated by them, PLEASE contact me (or just post here) so we can coordinate action against them.
These crooks have to realize that cheating their customers is NOT going to be profitable.
I hope you will be wiser and less trusting then me.
