Good morning
I sold a handbag whose description clearly stated in red and bold that there was a problem with the flashing lights that I could NOT verify since the bag has an old style charging cable such as Samsung (the bag dates from 2017) and I have APPLE equipment... There was a 20% discount automatically and I also pointed out that there would be NO RETURNS since I pointed it out. The buyer put pressure on me to send the bag immediately when in my conditions it is indicated 10 days: I did it immediately; he had barely received the bag when he asked for a return, of course citing another reason in his dispute... I accepted the return (to have peace), he forced me to send him a return slip claiming that there was a small scratch that had not been reported... I sent him a private parcel slip for a collection by relay point because I was not at home: I sent this slip on December 19 and then no more news... on the 23rd, I asked him where it was and on the 24th, I received a dispute from eBay saying that they had reached a compromise and that the buyer had to return the bag to me and that to do so they had sent a colissimo slip to the buyer when I reminded him that I was not there for the postman's visit... On the 30th, the postman came and of course couldn't find me; I called my neighbor to get it back on the 31st, which he did, and then (even though I couldn't check the condition of the bag in return) I received a message from eBay saying that they had refunded the buyer on my behalf, while also squeezing my commission back... I sent a request to explain that I wasn't at home and that I couldn't check the item, and then: bang, the buyer who must have been notified (but was nevertheless fully refunded) left me a negative review with a defamatory comment! Yesterday, I kindly asked him to do something for the holidays and change his comment, and then he made it even worse by posting photos of a bag that didn't match the one I sold, and as a bonus he wrote me, WITHOUT GOING THROUGH EBAY MESSAGING, another insulting message directly to my email address: here's a copy:

How can I get eBay to take responsibility and protect me as a professional seller as it should be; I wrote to them BUT a robot replied (basically): "that buyers have all the rights and that it will stay that way and that no, these are not defamatory remarks"
This is the only negative comment except that it brings my performance from 100% to 94.4%... and maybe I attach too much importance to it but I am 72 years old and my sales are my only income so it worries me...!
I know I'm writing to members but if by any chance this message could be read by a REAL eBay employee: I ask him to do something for me so that my reputation is not tarnished!
Thank you for reading me

Bonsoir
