Hi there. I’m Sarah Livnat and I work in PayPal’s risk management group focusing on seller protections.
Recently, Bill Cobb announced that PayPal would be providing expanded seller protection as an exclusive offer to eBay PowerSellers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada
and Hong Kong beginning in February. We’re very excited about the launch and have received a lot of positive feedback from many of you. However, we’ve delayed the launch for a few weeks in order to address some outstanding technical issues. We apologize for the delay. We’ll keep you apprised of our progress.
For those of you who may not be aware, expanded seller protection will provide PowerSellers with protection against fraudulent payments and item not received claims/chargebacks in 190 markets worldwide on eligible transactions. Expanded seller protection from PayPal is free and there’s no annual coverage cap. To learn more, check out my blog post http://www.thepaypalblog.com/weblog/2008/01/coming-soon-exp.html.
Thank you for your patience.
