E-BAY doesn't MAKE people buy things, but for the people who BUY THINGS and then use E_BAY as their personal Cash COW and SAVIOUR for irresponsible behaviour against a seller all with EBAYS blessings is not a Company I would choose long term to be associated with. We each have to manage our own risk in an internet environment. I don't want EBay in control of mine!
I sell very little on ebay anymore. It's just too expensive to offer much for sale here. My websites doo good with an expense of about 6 dollars a month each. That includes everything except credit card fees.
Things would have to change drastically for me to relist in any quantity on ebay. Ebay is not a stable selling platform.
I can't help but wonder if the bottom line would show differently if it included ALL the refunding sellers are having to do with the new breed of lying and scamming buyers many of us are experiencing lately.
Ebay is making more money on fees now, so of course the bottom line is going to go increase.
Numbers don't necessarily give the true picture of what really is happening at E-BAY.
What is interesting is the part on how eBay sellers, especially PS, are taking these "improved" changes and the hypocrisy of Mr. Donohoe and eBay.
They keep on saying how changes are being made to 'improve" the buying experience.
Yet, by their own User Agreement, eBay says that they are just a venue and business dealings are between seller and buyer.
This is, by far, no longer the case.
