Sorry for this being in English, but I need your help. I intend to sell to French customers from the USA, what is the method of payment that is standard in France, do you use paypal, or better to take the international Money order offered by French postal Service.

Also, how long it takes for customs to clear the item.

The easiest way is to offer Paypal as current method of payment.
International money orders are quite expensive in France and also forbidden in EBay rules.

And with paypal, fees exchange are very low, (2.5% for paypal, 7% for a bank).

thanks for the reply, so paypal is the custom now for French buyers, I used to sell here about 5 years ago, and most of my buyers didn't know it or refused to use it, and I ended up receiving a payment through French Postal service money order, which I would cash here through western union.

Now french customers MUST accept paypal. Money order is expensive and long and western union is not secure.
