Hello, I have recently purchased seeds from a seller that seemed legit.
While waiting for the one month delivery, I realized the seller is mostly selling seeds of plants that do not exist with exotic names like "blue watermelon" and veggies that look like breast but that are in fact stolen pictures from an artist and the list goes on...
At this point I was almost sure that when I receive my seeds, they would not be what they're supposed to be.
It turns out I was right, I received seeds of the very common "officinalis sage" instead of the rare "white sage" that I was looking for. (I took pictures of the seeds i received and what the seeds I ordered were supposed to look like, filled the refund thing etc...)
I am very sure that this is no mistake and that the seller is aware of his little scam. He gets mostly positive reviews because by the time people grow seeds into a fully grown plant, it's too late for them to realize that what they ordered was nothing like what was described.
Okay so, I just want my money back, and I don't want to spend 1 cent more on this seller.
He has never answered me, i can not find anyway to contact ebay, the seller now removed all his products, and sent a notification of "on holiday" or something like that. I did not get a slip return slip of any sort.
Many thanks for whoever can help me. This isn't a small amount of money but it really upset me to see that this seller is selling hundred and hundred of seeds that are purposely miss labeled to make money and that nothing can be done, and that it seems that I'm not even going to get my money back. Because I was scammed already, i have no reason to believe that the seller will be honest and confirm that he received the fake seeds he sent me to pay me back.
😞
Can someone please tell me what I am supposed to do in that situation ?

Hi,
I am really sorry to hear about your buying experience on our site, that's not the attitude we expect from a seller towards their buyers. We offer Buyer protection. So, if you have received other seeds than the ones you have ordered, you can open a return request on eBay: https://bit.ly/3dTREpQ.
The seller will have 3 business days to make things right and if he does not, you can ask us to step in.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, I received absolutely no message from the seller since the begenning. I was expecting a return slip so I would not have to pay fees to return something a scammer (that can simply claim that I never sent back the seeds anyway).
So after a million attempt to contact ebay and the seller, I canceled the return, thinking it might give me new options. Now I'm even more doomed as I can not make a new request, or get my money back in anyway as ebay is now basically telling me "well you canceled the return so everything is good now, case closed."
This is not a big amount of money but seing the seller is making litteraly thousands of dollars by scamming people with seeds that CLEARLY don't exist such as those "nipple pumpkin seeds" with stolen pictures from artist that created them as an april fool's joke is really frustrating.
